Zai Chang is an Emerging Technology Advisor at Chevron. He joined the company as a materials engineer after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006. Zai has held various roles in materials, corrosion, and inspection within both Upstream and Downstream sectors, as well as Chevron’s Technical Center. In 2022, Zai transitioned to the Innovation & Commercialization team then onto the IP & Strategy Team where he currently works.
